Welcome.
I'm Mitch, a Visual artist
I use paints, charcoal, and ink to create textured, impressionist pieces that capture figurative subjects, whether that be animals, nature, or people.
I use paints, charcoal, and ink to create textured, impressionist pieces that capture figurative subjects, whether that be animals, nature, or people.
I have a background in cartoons, illustration and even a little tattoo design. This foundation, alongside new techniques I’ve taught myself, result in a style that’s a blend of figurative, impressionistic and expressive art. I make use of many different types of mark-making tools to create my art – palette knives, ink pens, pastels, charcoals, and brushes. I enjoy making sense out of the chaos and challenges that using mixed media presents.
I hope you enjoy browsing my work and please reach out if you have questions about my process or are interested in working with me.
I’ll send updates on my work, tips for my process and some pieces I have for sale.
