As an admirer of many great musicians, athletes and other performers, I’m inspired by seeing people perform their talents with complete focus on their craft – described as a flow state. I’ve had experiences with this flow state as an athlete and it has had a lasting impact on me. Every time I get to sit down and make art that represents this unique phenomenon, I access it a little bit myself.
